GORAKHPUR INFRASTRUCTURE COMPANY LIMITED (GICL)
    GORAKHPUR BY-PASS ROAD PROJECT

The scope of the project involves design, construction, finance, operation and maintenance of Gorakhpur Bypass on NH-28 in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India on BOT (Annuity) Basis. NH-28 forms part of the East-West Corridor connecting Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh and Mokama in Bihar, passing through the city of Gorakhpur. Gorakhpur is an important city in the state of Uttar Pradesh and is headquarters of the Northern Railways.

The client is National Highways Authority of India.

The Partners in the SPV are Gammon and Associated Transrail Structures Limited.

The Project has achieved Financial Closure and is in its construction phase.

GICL will have a revenue stream consisting of semi-annual annuity. from NHAI, throughout the operations period. The concession/ licence period is 20 years.
